Panda Research Review: Worth It?

Have you ever thought about making money online and end up doing online surveys? Sometimes the flood is real and this is what people are given.

There are multiple ways that you can earn money with survey sites. And on the same note, survey platforms are not the only option you have. I mean, taking only surveys will get a bit boring, so in this case you can refer to GPT and PTC Sites if you want to switch the motion.

I’ve been looking for a survey site to review and can tell you that not all of them stay afloat. Even in my whole blog list, many of them have closed down. You may experience this happening to you as well.

If a survey site that you are a member of closes down, you can always turn to Google and find trusty reviews from bloggers like me.

I write these reviews to help inform people about a certain product or service that claims you will earn money by doing their tasks. You need to make sure the site is safe to use; otherwise you could end up badly scammed.

In saying this, we need to further investigate whether Panda Research is a scam or legit by going through what it offers.

So, let’s get started.

Product Name: Panda Research

Download: Website only

Owner: Unknown

Earnings: $1.50+ per task

Overall Rating: 69/100

What Is Panda Research?

Panda Research is a surveys site that has a bunch of ways that you can be paid. On their homepage, they claim to have paid out over 2 million dollars so far.

Surveys are not the only way you can earn with Panda Research. It says members can earn extra by referring friends, completing offers, and receiving coupons, discounts, and giveaways by participating in paid surveys. There’s also reading emails that will let you increase your earnings.

Further investigations revealed Panda Research was started back in 2005 by parent company A & A marketing.

Panda Research Review: Worth It?

There’s a trusted review site called SiteJabber that does reveal some low ratings, that you should keep in mind also. Out of 14 reviews, it offers 1.5/5 stars. I don’t know what this is about because I didn’t read any of the reviews, but I thought it was important enough to add it here. If you want to see them, just type Panda Research reviews and look for SiteJabber.

How Does Panda Research Work?

To get started with Panda Research, you need a computer and internet connection. You can then sign up and login to your account.

Members of Panda Research have to live in the US and be over the age of 18.

What I would normally recommend at this stage is to download their app and extension if they have one, but they don’t, so you don’t have to worry about this.

We do, however, have to look for social media. There are some revealing concerns that we need to look at, but first find out if they have Facebook. Actually, the concerns I was going to mention have now doubled. When I just looked for Facebook on their homepage, there was none. You should generally have this with any survey site, so you can contact them for support. So, I searched manually and found more than a couple that are not official. Instead, members of the site are creating Facebook Pages to spam their referral links.

Panda Research Review: Worth It?

The other thing I wanted to reveal was a complaint on another blog site where one member had built up $240 in earnings and was unable to ever withdraw. As weird as this seems, it’s true. Sometimes the survey panel will not be able to issue a payment because the member has wrong payment details. But keep in mind that this wasn’t the case entirely. Think back to earlier in this review when I showed you their reviews on SiteJabber, well, it seems that there are some complaints that could be scattered around the same cause.

How To Earn From Panda Research

#1Sign Up To Panda Research

As mentioned, to create an account with Panda Research, you need to be living within the US and be over the age of 18. The homepage makes it easy to create an account. Use your name, email, and date of birth to register correctly.

You might also need to provide more details that can help with the demographics, which will help Panda Research send you the surveys that best match you.

#2Activate Your Account

To earn your first $3 you can activate your profile. This is done by going to your email inbox and clicking on the sign-up verification link that Panda Research sent to your email. This is an important step because the threshold is already at $50 minimum. Now, I’m not saying that they don’t have tasks that can help you reach this, but it’s a good way to boost your initial earnings.

#3Paid Surveys

Get paid by Panda Research to answer surveys based on a whole range of topics. When you log in into the platform, you’ll notice a section called “My Studies”. This section holds true and contains not only surveys but also offers. You can also find shopping offers in this section. If you ask me, there’s just a whole range of things you can do, making this panel more of a GPT site than a surveys site.

#4Discounts & Coupons

As hard as this is to explain, it still holds to true. You can score discounts and coupons by doing things like taking surveys and even playing games.

From what I’ve been able to research, Panda Research is actually linked to many advertises which are offered as part of their collection of ways that you can earn.

You’ll also find that many of these offers don’t actually provide you with coupons to any name brand websites, rather companies that you have probably never heard of before.

If I were you, I would watch the types of tasks you take with this one.

#5Read Emails

Do you like reading emails? Good, because there’s a section at Panda Research that offers you a way to receive emails, where you read them and earn money.

You’ll want to use a different email address for this and not sign up with your own. When you receive these, they will probably ask you to click on the link and be taken to another web page. You should never use your personal email for this.

From the research I performed, some of these email reads are paying $25.

Members cant opt out of receiving them. You do have the option to select when and how many you receive, though.

#6Refer Friends and Family

Making money online, in case you haven’t noticed, all comes down to referring others. You can be paid by Panda Research to bring people you know into the platform.

If somebody that you referred joins, you earn 10% of their earnings for life. I doubt that this affects how much they get paid. I believe that Panda Research pays you 10% by matching.

This is a wonderful way to earn some extra money, you should learn how to do this properly. By the way, if you remember during this review I talked about spammed Facebook Pages from Panda Research members? This is what they are trying to do. Get more referrals by creating a Facebook Fan Page. It can clog up Facebook a lot of the time.

Payment Method and Minimum Payout

Panda Research pays their members via PayPal when they reach $50 minimum. I know this is a massive amount to try and save up with taking surveys, so maybe you might want to keep other site panels in mind. It could also be because the site offers alternative ways to earn and are trying to get the panel to engage more so that they see this.

It is important at this time to know that if you receive any surveys and complete them via mobile phone, you won’t be paid. So, remember to take surveys only via desktop in order to be paid for every one of them. No, they don’t have an app, so this is important to note.

Surveys will generally take 5–10 minutes to finish, and pay around $1.50 to $3.00. If you find yourself taking longer surveys that take an hour or so, you could earn upwards of $40+.

Pros & Cons

What’s to like –

  • Good reviews all round
  • Has PayPal
  • Has a many ways to earn
  • Has many good promotional offers

What’s not to like –

  • Only available in the US
  • High payout threshold ($50)
  • No social media
  • Spammed Facebook Pages

This has to be one of the best GPT sites I’ve encountered. Even though there are some bad reviews, there are only like a dozen or so, which makes me think that the rest of the platform is being paid.

You can take as many tasks as you wish. They even have a support link at the bottom of their site, but you can’t use it unless you have an account. This probably deters people from asking them questions.

All in all, I think this site is a good way for you to earn some extra cash.
