Is Cutco a Scam or Legit? An Honest Review

Cutco Review

There are many possible ways out there to earn money and people will work to anything if they don’t know what it offers. So, for this I want to thank you for taking your due diligence in looking into a business moreso than just spending money on the opportunity and hoping it works.

But I want to mention now that MLMs are the number 1 industry to stay away from.

You’re probably new to this world where you can work for yourself and since you’re here you don’t know about other possibilities yet to unfold.

You should read this $3.875K for the month of January. Life Just Got Better again all Down to Wealthy Affiliate. The latter is of a platform that is up to date with where everything is at. In short, it teaches you how to write an article and sell products through your website. Success from other people is everything when wanting to stabilize a pathway in that company.

But What WWW.Cutco.com and can you really make money selling knives? In short, you can, but it will be a long, slow, and boring process. We’re living in 2021 and things are not like they were back 20 years ago when this type of marketing was working. Now it just doesn’t compare.

What is Cutco?

Cutco Corporation is a privately ran Multilevel marketing company, formerly known as Alcas Corporation. Cutco sells knives and uses a direct-selling method that only goes down one level. This is important to note, because it is probably why they have had success and not trouble like just about every other MLM on the market.

It is the parent company of CUTCO Cutlery Corp., Vector Marketing, Ka-Bar Knives, and Schilling Forge, and their primary brand is named Cutco.

Cutco was founded way back in 1949 to manufacture knives by Alcoa and Case Cutlery (a Contraction of “Al-Cas”).

Cutco is the parent company of Vector Marketing Corporation which they acquired back in 1985. Today, Vector Marketing is used at Cutco Sales arm where distributors can sign up and help sell their products.

How does Cutco work?

To get started using Cutco you just need to go to their website and sign up.

I am guessing that the types of people wanting to start in this business are people who already use knives. I mean, if they’re a good brand and you know about them because you use knives, then you’re probably thinking you should try them out.

Here are the main categories on offer:

  • Knives – $40-$250 for a knife i.e. cleaver, trimmer, table knife, French knife etc.
  • Shears – around $120 for scissors
  • Cooks’ tools – $40-$300 gadgets, baking tools, utensils, cutting boards etc.
  • Tableware – $30-$1,500 for cutlery
  • Cookware – $80-$2,600 for pots and pans
  • Outdoor – $100-$250 for hunting knives, pocket knives, sporting knives, garden tools
  • So if you sign up you’ll be able to sell these products and make your share.

Overall

Cutco is definitely a legitimate business to join and start selling knives. But I can almost be certain that it will be a slow and painful journey. I mean, who ever made it as a knife seller? LOL.
