Hey and welcome to another blog post of mine. It’s true, Christmas is coming in a lot swifter than anyone knows or would have thought. The first realization I got was last week when daylight savings had started. Were you aware that it was another day light savings last week? I wasn’t until the next day. So because of that, I thought that doing a special post on cheap things you can grab for Christmas would be a steal.
In this post, you will find out and remember until the time comes, what cheap products are, and how good they are. The first thing people think of when it turns Christmas time is, what are they going to get their friends and family for Christmas and is it going to cost a fortune. Because of this hardly anyone even spends much. Well, you know how the saying goes, it’s not the thought that counts it’s the gift.

What do you think are 10 cheap things you could get for your friends and family if it was time to buy? comment below.
Everybody has already heard about what the first item on the list is, and during Christmas these are on everyone’s mind, as they sit inside doing everyone’s Christmas cards:
1. Free Christmas cards
Whether they are Christmas cards or just a random gift card, when they are free, they have been around for a long amount of time. Nearly everyone has heard about gift cards, and this is the true element of Love isn’t it? when you grab a gift card of someone, it really hits home about the element of love.
When I was a young kid, the special times I can remember, as we all, are when I would receive a whole pile of cards, and I would need to sit whatever within the house, and start writing out to all the people I new. We also did this for Christmas for out class room in primary school.
You could either make your own cards or by them. Everywhere had free cards so all you needed to do was go there and receive them.
2. Gifts bought with gift cards
Gift bought with gift cards are something that happens in turn, but usually the other end doesn’t find out. I know, you still had to pay for the card, but the gift was free. In turn, the gift product still costed money, and this is what counts.
If you’re asking me whether using gift cards to buy presents is something that I would do, of course yes; I don’t see any real problems with that at all.
In today’s day and age, the best value for cards is at your local supermarkets. Supermarkets (groceries store) have tonnes of cards available. Head on in, make your purchase, and you have another free Christmas present. If you don’t see it like that, then pass it on to your son, and in turn, he can use it for one of his friends.
3. Vegetable basket
Did you think this would appear in my list? a vegetable basket! what an awesome treat! ok so you’re sitting within your home and the door knocks. You answer the door, and your neighbour is standing there with a basket of vegetables. He makes claim that he collected them all for your especially and then says tell everybody he said Merry Christmas! These sorts of treats can be awesome, any type of food like this feels awesome eating or just looking at because you know you got them for free.
4. A Mixtape
Identify your friends favourite source tracks and then pre identify a mix tape for their Christmas present. This type of present will have little bit more labor involved but still a really good present. You could use a few months prior to it getting on Christmas to help calculate their songs. You could also conspire to ask friends and relatives for references to the act.
In my personal opinion though, I would be very careful with the music you present, and this is because of special damage requirements that can happen when burning the wrong music. Don’t burn metal or anything toxic and heavy, it’ll just create concern, and do no favours to the person listening. It doesn’t need to be manifested by design. Instead, think smart and do it, but burn something that goes against the evil in this world. Just find good songs so they know you were listening in your time on this earth.
5. Sweater Mittens
How often do you find that the left over jumpers you have can be used as many other different alternatives? apart from the many different varieties of styles you can make, in my mind, I thought of making Sweater Mittens. Well, if it’s coming up to Christmas, and you find yourself sitting there wondering what you can obtain for peoples presents, I think you have something here. It just fits well with coming up to Christmas time and having something fun to do with your relatives (maybe your Grandmother).
6. Amazon Trade-in Store
The Amazon Trade-In Store comes in handy and especially if you have lots of things saved up within your house from the year that just passed.
What this is when you are eligible to sell you unwanted items and in return you receive a gift card. Does sound like something your interested in? I mean, how often do you find your unwanted things sitting around your house? you can trade them in for gift cards, and then use the gift cards for awesome Christmas Presents.
To use the Amazon Trade-In just go to Amazon, which I have a link for here.
7. Free Events
This one isn’t easy to maintain through the year but if you know about it, then you can keep you ears open because free events (if good) can turn out to be a good treat. Im guessing here you would need the whole year. It’s the hard work that goes putting in the effort to first keep a look, but then take heed and proper investigate the tickets. This will lead to you being able to send the tickets to your house and then have them for Christmas presents.
What do you think? do you like the sound of free events? would you be keen to try one? I’d like to see the comments on this one! while i’m thinking about it, I actually think you might find events that have to do with your industry/space niche, and if this were the case, im sure the same people would love going to there same industry event for free!
8. Jar Candles
Jar candles are probably the easiest thing on this list to make and yet doesn’t cost much to make. These types of presents are always going to be a great idea. Im presuming the people you give them to will know (not exactly) what they are, I know there’s nothing wrong with that, i’m just presenting a path for quality when making them. Because they are an all time favourite, I believe if you decide to go through and make them, then to use your time, and make a great batch. it’ll want to smell the part, plus have the extra last within length.
9. Home Made Soap
Homemade soap is another all time favourite gift for people to make and send one another within the mail. How many people can actually say they have made soap for there next Christmas present? I thought soap was made out of fat…
The products you need to make homemade soap are:
- Washing Soda
- Fels Naptha Soap
- Borax (for the laundry detergent)
If you like to go ahead and use different products that’s no problem at all. As long as the presentation comes out looking superb, you will have no problems with passing it on as a gift.
In fact doing this make awesome and special occasions when getting your family together. After reading this list, if you are going to take heed and take part in generating some of these products, then let your family know you have some fun stuff coming up for your next Christmas!
10. Gifts of Service
I bet you have never heard of this before, did you know you could actually lend your services for free, and let this be your first Christmas present? Babysitting, watching there dogs, there are literally tonnes of things you can do or offer when needing to lend a hand, in this case offer a free Christmas present.
Take that with this kind of present you would maybe need to be pretty close with the person involved. If you can very close family friends then yes, but again it doesn’t always need to be about family, it could just be friends in general. I only kept saying friends for the other elements earlier on. 🙂
Well, looks like we have come to the last end, which means you now have more ideas that you can implement for your next Christmas. Did you enjoy the post?
Not everyone does have full time employment, but everyone does need a Christmas presentation. There are so many reasons to take heed when seeing people who are not as lucky as others. This is one aspect to look out for, but are there any others?
Another verdict that comes to mind during Christmas are the families who can’t seriously afford anything. Even though we never hear about how rough some families are going, best believe there are families who don’t have anything. They try to stay together for the sake of being a family, but families like this always need extra care.
I do hope that out of this post, both people with nothing receives presents, and next to that, the poorer families also.
Thanks for reading this list and I hope to hear from you soon!
